As change comes as hard as it might be, what is God trying to teach me? I am learning to hear his voice more clearly and follow him more closely.

God Provides Far More Than Imagined
Have you ever really thought about all that God has provided in your life? Have you ever marveled at His perfect timing? Do you thank Him, trust Him, worship Him and spend time with Him? All He wants from us is our time, availability and dependence upon Him. My God has provided bigger and better than I could ever have dreamed or hoped for. I must always remember His timing is perfect. As I begin a new chapter in my life, it comes with angst, trepidation, uncertainty, loneliness, hope, joy, peace and comfort. How, you might ask can it be all those things? Well, when I walk in my flesh apart from Christ, I feel angst, trepidation, uncertainty and loneliness. Why? Because all I consider is ME. Apart from Him (I) can do NOTHING. I get in the way of seeing His big picture, His perfect timing, and purpose for my life. When I walk in HIS spirit, I feel hope, joy, peace and comfort. For in HIM I can do all things. He is MY hope. He is MY joy. He is MY peace. He is MY comfort. No one or anything can provide those things only MY LORD. I need to walk moment by moment with my eyes on Him, not in my circumstances, nor the people around me nor my feelings. They will ALWAYS let me down and leave me feeling empty. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus and HIS righteousness. If I truly believe God's timing is perfect, and that I am here to be used by Him, for such a time as this, than I can rest in knowing He has not forgotten about me, left me alone or abandoned me in any way. He holds me in His hands, protects me, comforts me, loves me unconditionally and will never let me go. MY GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!!!!!

Trusting
What an awesome God we serve. No matter what comes our way, we can always trust it to be part of our Lord's perfect plan for our lives. He sees the big picture, we just see the here and now. In every situation we are to be an example of Christ. What does that really mean? Patience, when we are stressed or frustrated. Courage when we can't control the outcome. Loving, when we have been hurt. Faithful in all things and situations. My husband once told me, the only thing we can control is our attitude in every situation, the greatest freedom of all. Be thankful in all things, God's word doesn't say for all things, but "in" all things. Great reminder. Lord thank you for all you have provided. I am the luckiest wife, mommala/mellers, gramma, daughter and friend in the world. So very blessed.

Happy 31st Anniversary Baby
Seems like just yesterday we were saying "I do". Hard to believe that we have been side by side for 31 years. Through all of life's ups and downs we have been together, so thankful we have each other. I love being married to you.

Trusting God for the outcome
As we face our future, we are trusting God for healing. Whatever the outcome, we know He holds our future in His hands. Lord thank you for taking care of our fears and worries. For when we are weak and fearful YOU are strong and courageous. In the midst of it all He provides us moments of comfort.

It's a BOY
We are so very excited to have found out that our daughter and son-in-law are going to have a son. This will be our first grandchild, praying for many more to come :). We are eagerly awaiting his arrival after the first of the year. We have been so blessed, God has sustained us through it all, the ups and the downs. Thank you JESUS for your faithfulness and blessings.

Trusting in the midst of the storm
Trusting God in the midst of the storm, sounds so easy until we have to do it. This week we found out some news that rattled our foundation. I am reminded by my sweet husband that God is not concerned with our comfort but with our character. Well, with that being said we will be quite the characters. We are putting our faith in God, expecting the best, yet realizing whatever the outcome our God is not surprised and He is still in control. We trust Him daily to see us through and thank Him for all of our blessings.
Hang on tight to Jesus, He is faithful to see you through life's storms.
