Memories

Making the most of every day, that is all we are promised. As my journey in Denver comes to a close, I think  back on all the wonderful things I was able to share with my kids, a day in the pool laughing, a hike with friends exploring the desert side, a breakfast place with a terrific view, seeing new sights together, a baseball game or two, a hike through the Rocky Mountains together for the first time, making dinner, watching a movie, walking around the lake at sunset, shopping for bargains to make their place a home, telling stories, laughing or sharing tears...whatever we did, wherever we went, I will take those memories with me forever. Thank you Lord for a wonderful time with my kids and reminding me that you love them more than I do. I know that you will be with them always to watch over, protect and care for them, that is all a mother could ask for. No matter where I am or where they are or what they are going through, I know I can always lift them up in prayer. Lord I love you and thank you for a wonderful time. You truly are the maker of memories and I thank you.

Finding Comfort

Where do we go when life does not make sense? I run into the arms of Jesus. He is my source of comfort and hope. When we question why, where do I turn? I turn to Jesus, He has the answer even when I don't understand or agree. When situations seem hopeless what do I do? I PRAY, for God can answer anything and do anything. All I have to do is trust that HE knows what is best in every situation. He sees the final Tapestry of my life, with every thread perfectly in place and the final product finished, all I see is the here and now.

Lord today I trust you with those I love.....no matter the outcome.....I know that you are on your throne and have not forgotten about.....Thank you that you love us the way you do.

Resting in the Lord

Well Summer is finally here, a time to unwind, relax and reflect on all that the Lord has provided thus far. As the routine has changed, and my new purpose is unfolding, I am forever reminded of the love my family has for me and the Love and Comfort my God always gives to me as well. Though the last year has had many ups and downs. I have to dwell on the ups. I know that in the valley is where our growth comes, so I can't always expect things to go well. I guess what I am trying to say is enjoy and learn whatever it is God is trying to teach you right where He has you. Rest in Him, Relax in Him and Reflect on what you have learned. Everyday is a gift. Make the most of it. Learn what you must, and cherish every new memory made today.
